Expression in Writing and Arts Track

The Expressions in Writing and Arts track embraces interconnections between literature, writing, visual arts, and creative expression.

The track requires 12 s.h. of foundation course work and 18 s.h. of upper-level course work (courses numbered 3000-4999) offered by distance education.

Upper-level course work –Must complete 18 s.h. 

Note: Any repeatable creative writing (CW) course can only be applied to the Expression in Writing and Arts Track once. 

Repeatable upper-level (3000 - 4999) CW courses will count toward Upper-Level Coursework requirements each time the course is successfully completed. Check MyUI for repeatable CW courses. There are limits to the number of times a course can be repeated. If repeatable, the MyUI course summary page will indicate how many times the CW course can be taken for academic credit.
