Seats in online sections can fill fast! Look for restricted sections and seat reservations with seats allocated specifically for students in online degree programs.
On this page you will find a list of courses with seats restricted to and reserved for online degree students including students enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Studies (BAS) and Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) online degree programs.
Important tips for courses listed on this page:
- Always check courses against your degree audit to ensure the course will meet the degree requirements you expect.
Seat restrictions are listed in the "Notes" column of the course listing in MyUI.
When reviewing courses in MyUI look for the “Some seats are reserved” hyperlink to view the population, number, and availability of reserved seats.
The seat reservations field is listed under the full course summary in MyUI. In the example below you see how many seats are reserved for two different student populations, Online Major/Minor/Certificate and Political Science Online major students. You can still enroll in unreserved or "open" seats even when the reserved seats have been filled.
- Review course selections with your academic advisor through use of the Registration Planning Tool (RPT).
- Discuss courses and registration by setting up an appointment with your academic advisor.
