Thank you for choosing the University of Iowa to complete your online degree program!
The Bachelor of Applied Studies (BAS) and Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) degree programs are designed to allow you to complete the entire process online. You can apply, complete orientation, meet with your advisor, register, access your courses, and take most exams completely online.
We hope you choose to come to the Iowa City campus to walk across the stage at commencement, but it’s not required. You’re always welcome to come explore campus and Iowa City, take courses, meet with your advisor, attend a cultural, art, or sports event, or to take advantage of additional resources.
What does it mean to complete your online BAS or BLS degree at the UI?
- Your University of Iowa degree can be done 100% online.
- You earn a fully accredited University of Iowa bachelors degree.
